The Spirit of God: The Same Ability

...the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.— John 14:12b
As we read in the gospels about the mighty works that Jesus did–-the signs, wonders, and miracles–-we are all awestruck by His power and ability. We see the gospel preached with power, the blind able to see, the deaf now hearing, the lame walking, and the lunatics set free. What a powerful display of supernatural ability! What an advancement for the Kingdom of God! What a decline in Satanic rule in the lives of mankind! What a man of faith and power Jesus is! Then He drops a bombshell on us. He declares that the same works He did, we can now do, and even greater works than He did, we can do! Is this a misprint? Did Jesus lose His mind? No, He just knew how powerful the Spirit and anointing can be on anyone’s life. He had more faith and confidence in the power of God than in the works of the devil. He believed that men would learn to cooperate with that power and ability to do His work...and “even greater works.” All this would take place, not if Jesus stayed here among us, but if He went away to the Father. Why? Because when He went to the Father, He received of the Father the Holy Ghost, and shed Him forth on all flesh (Acts 2:33). The same ability which Jesus cooperated with is the same ability you have and with which you can learn to cooperate. The results will not only be the same works, but greater works.
The Spirit of God: Everything You Need

Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; — 2 Corinthians 1:21
God not only chose to anoint Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power (Acts 10:38), but also has anointed you. It is a privilege to be anointed by God and given the ability to do the works of the Kingdom. Most Christians see themselves as powerless, weak, and victims, waiting for God to step in and do something in their life. They look to heaven for help in their jobs and family and social life. They cry out for God to intervene in their marriages, circumstances, and situations. But God has given you all the help that you need: The Anointing! He has enabled and empowered you to blow any problem out of your life. Sickness is no match for the anointing. Lack is no match for the anointing. Depression is no match, and demons themselves have no chance against the power of God in your life. You need to magnify the anointing which you have of God, rather than your problems. Magnify the power He has given you instead of the troubles in your life. Talk about and think about this wonderful ability He has put upon your life rather than talking about and worrying about what the devil is doing. Whatever you meditate on and talk about will manifest in your life! Trouble or power! Evil work or divine intervention! You have been anointed by God! It is enough to keep you on top.

And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; — Acts 5:12a
What a marvelous idea God had-–to equip mankind with His anointing and power. God chose to take His own power and ability and put it on man so man could yield to and cooperate with it to live in total victory. Here we see the apostles doing many signs, wonders, and miracles. They did them through the anointing that was in their hands. They believed in the anointing which God had given to them. They believed that the Holy Spirit’s power was in and on their physical body. They knew their hands had been anointed by God and through them would flow His power! You have the anointing in your hands, in your eyes, in your words, in and on your physical body. Jesus used His hands to minister the power of God into people’s lives. He knew He could transfer and release the power of God to others through His body. People took aprons from Paul, full of his sweat, and people were healed by the anointing. Peter and John looked at the crippled man at the gate and commanded him to rise up and he did. Peter’s shadow was healing people because of the presence of the anointing on his life. You too can become an outlet, a distribution center, for God’s power. Your hands are anointed, your body is a weapon for God. You have the ability – now put your faith in that ability.
God's Army: Preparing or Ready?

...a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, — Joel 2:2b
This final army of God will be different from any other generation until now. They will be a great people and a strong people. They will not possess any more authority than any other generation, they will not have more of the Holy Ghost, they will not have a greater anointing than the others that preceded them. They will just be taught and trained to use the weapons that they already have. They will become efficient in the “all authority” Jesus gives to us in His name (Matt. 28:18; Luke 10:19) and will become skilled in the “ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you” (Acts 1:8). When God poured out His Spirit on Pentecost, He poured upon all flesh the whole Holy Ghost. We did not get part of the Holy Ghost or some of the anointing, but all the power heaven has to offer. Since that time, the Church has continuously prepared for a move of God, prepared for an invasion of God, prepared to be used of God. Some have prepared their whole Christian life only to die and never make any impact on spiritual things. Now is not a time of preparation, but a time of cooperation with the authority and the Spirit God has already provided. We do not need more power–-we need to learn to cooperate with the power we already have. This army will be taught to win, not by systems or formulas, but by God Himself.
God's Army: Become Dangerous!

It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. — John 6:45a
We are living in the greatest dispensation of all time. We have the privilege and opportunity to be personally taught by the Spirit of God. Old Testament people longed for and desired to hear the voice of God, but were taught by the Law. Today we have God Himself living on the inside of us, and we have the awesome opportunity to hear and be led by His voice on a daily basis. We no longer have just a prayer-time relationship with God, or a church relationship with God, but we have an all-day, every-day contact with God. The attention you give to your spiritual growth and development must be a priority over the intellectual and natural-realm life. Many in the Church have a head-full of information, but do not walk in the power of revelation. Revelation in the Spirit is what makes you dangerous as a soldier of God. Revelation will not only cause you to know the Word, but to act and live what you know. Peter got a revelation: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus said “You did not get this information from flesh and blood, but you were taught by My Father.” As a result, Satan desired to sift Peter as wheat. Why? Peter had become dangerous to the kingdom of darkness. Today’s army will receive revelation through Holy-Ghost preaching. As a result, they will no longer sit and prepare, but will cooperate with God. God is teaching His people.
