God's Army: Preparing or Ready?

...a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, — Joel 2:2b
This final army of God will be different from any other generation until now. They will be a great people and a strong people. They will not possess any more authority than any other generation, they will not have more of the Holy Ghost, they will not have a greater anointing than the others that preceded them. They will just be taught and trained to use the weapons that they already have. They will become efficient in the “all authority” Jesus gives to us in His name (Matt. 28:18; Luke 10:19) and will become skilled in the “ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you” (Acts 1:8). When God poured out His Spirit on Pentecost, He poured upon all flesh the whole Holy Ghost. We did not get part of the Holy Ghost or some of the anointing, but all the power heaven has to offer. Since that time, the Church has continuously prepared for a move of God, prepared for an invasion of God, prepared to be used of God. Some have prepared their whole Christian life only to die and never make any impact on spiritual things. Now is not a time of preparation, but a time of cooperation with the authority and the Spirit God has already provided. We do not need more power–-we need to learn to cooperate with the power we already have. This army will be taught to win, not by systems or formulas, but by God Himself.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: — John 16:13a
The Spirit of God is in the guiding and leading business. He is the only spiritual guide you need in this day and in this hour. He is the Commander-in-Chief of this last day’s army, and is manifesting through those who have yielded their lives to Him. He will lead you out of sorrow into joy, out of sickness into health, out of poverty into blessing, out of defeat into victory. He does this through leading you into truth, all truth. The only thing that keeps people bound, that keeps people from invading and attacking the kingdom of darkness, is error. People are waiting for God to pour out His power, when He did so years ago; they are waiting for God to start revival in the land, when revival lives in them; they are waiting for God to defeat the devil and darkness, when He has already. There is nothing that you lack in this day and hour in the spirit realm to keep you in hiding or on the shelf! It is time to believe and invade, to receive and attack, to allow the Spirit to guide you into all truth. As you allow Him to take you into the truth, you will find out that you have an anointing, you have all authority, and you possess the victory you have been trying to get! You are what the Word says you are, you have what the Word says you have! You have a right to be taught by God and to be led by His Holy Spirit. Let Him take you into all freedom by allowing Him to guide you into all truth.

And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
— 1 Corinthians 3:1
Just because you were born again does not mean that you are spiritual. In order for you to live a life in the Spirit and be effective as a soldier, you must mature as a Christian. Paul called the Corinthians carnal, and babies in the Spirit. He could not get across to them the revelation they needed in order to cooperate with the Holy Ghost. Spiritual growth is not an automatic experience. It is not dependent on the number of years that you have been saved, but on what you did with those years. Growing is a process, it is work; you have to nurture and exercise your spirit. If your spirit man is not built up and strong, you will not function as an invading soldier who runs, climbs, and marches. If your heart’s desire is to be successful in the Spirit, to see the miracles of God and the power of God manifest in your life, then you will have to take the time to train your spirit man to flow and cooperate with God. Your growth comes by renewing your mind and thought-life to come in line with God’s mind and thought-life. If you remain carnally minded, you will fail to flow with the plan and purpose of God. You cannot be conformed to this world by a natural mind-set and still flow with the Spirit of God. This is no time to be carnal and live as a mere powerless man (1 Cor. 3:3)!
God's Army: Find Your Strength

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. — Ephesians 6:10
We are now living in the finale of the ages. It is time to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. We cannot afford to be strong in natural things or in carnal things, but we must be strong in the Lord. The Lord and the Word are one, so we need to be strong in the Word. There is more good Holy-Ghost Word out there than ever before. We have CD’s, MP3's, Android and iPhones, iPad’s-–all sorts of electronic equipment that were designed by God–-not so we could listen to ungodly music, but so we could get the Word of God in our hearts and in our mouths. All the great advancements and achievements in technology are tools for God’s army to be trained. This daily Word that you are able to get every day is a tool to train and strengthen you in this day and hour. You choose whether to be strong or not, to get to church or not, to listen or not, to be led of the Spirit or not. Decide to be strong in the Word. Next, you must be strong in the power of His might. Notice, not strong in your might or your ability, but in His. His might and ability equal the anointing which you already have. Now you must learn to yield to and flow with that power. It is time to cooperate with His power and His Word. It is time to take time to get to know your Teacher, the Holy Ghost. It is time for an army, great and strong, like there has never been before. Finally, Army of God, be strong in the Word and in the Anointing.

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. — 2 Timothy 2:3
You have been called, you have been chosen, you have been enlisted to defend and invade in the Spirit. You are a soldier of Jesus Christ. Everyone who is born again has entered the army of God and now has a purpose and position in His army. A good soldier will endure hardness. A soldier is a person who is pursuing an enemy, who is advancing for the Kingdom’s sake. When you do, you will run into hardness. Hardness may be others who are not as serious about their enlistment as you are; it may be family members, it may be friends, it may even be other Christians who do not want to get involved. People will avoid you, they may even talk about you, but it does not change the fact that you are a soldier of Jesus Christ. When Paul was enlisted, his own people could not stand him, and the rest of the army was afraid of him, so he went to the Gentiles to take ground. Look for and find a people who want what you have-–who desire to be free, to be on fire, to be enlisted, and who will endure hardness from those who do not understand their enlistment. Do not complain, criticize, or back down, but endure.
