RIGHTEOUS PRAYER - Pray As One Reconciled
Wednesday, March 18, 2026
. . . who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ. —2 Corinthians 5:18
At one time, Adam had sweet fellowship and relationship with God. He walked and lived in God’s presence. He heard God’s voice and communicated with God on a daily basis. But when Adam sinned, fear, guilt, and condemnation came into his life and separated him from God. Because of fear, he hid from the presence of God and no longer had that sweet fellowship he had once enjoyed. He tried to restore that relationship with a fig leaf, but there wasn’t anything he or anyone else could do to repair his relationship and erase his mistake. So God came to the earth in Christ, “reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing [or holding] their trespasses unto [against] them” (verse 19, emphasis added). God personally came in the Person of Christ to once again restore fellowship between God and man! God is holding absolutely nothing against you today. He has removed sin, guilt, and the sense of inferiority between you and Himself. Once again, you can go to Him, spend time with Him, hear His voice, and live in His presence! You have been reconciled to God by Christ Jesus.

RIGHTEOUS PRAYER - A Righteous One’s Prayer
Tuesday, March 17, 2026
The effectual fervent [unceasing, confident] prayer of a righteous man availeth much. —James 5:16, emphasis added
The prayer of a person who has been made right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with! Righteousness gives you the legal right to declare, proclaim, and receive the promises of God. A man who is righteous and knows it, will not tolerate or settle for less than what legally belongs to him. He knows that he has a right to health, a right to wealth, and a right to a life of power and victory because of the blood of Christ. His prayer dominates natural laws; his prayers open the door to the miraculous of God. There is power available to a person who has been made righteous toward God. Out of righteousness comes a confidence and a boldness to rule the forces of darkness. The best news yet is that you are that confident, bold, righteous person whose prayer packs power.

RIGHTEOUS PRAYER - Right Relationship with God
Monday, March 16, 2026
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. —2 Corinthians 5:21
This is the greatest blessing you received at the new birth: you were made or created the righteousness of God. Righteousness gives you a right place, or right standing, with God, a place and relationship where sin never existed, made right with God so that nothing stands between you and almighty God. Through Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross, your relationship and fellowship have been restored with almighty God, and you have a legal right to once again come into His presence and live in His presence! No more guilt, no more condemnation, no more cringing fear of God, just sweet fellowship and relationship with Him. This is where prayer becomes rich and powerful, where prayer starts to change things around you. You are the righteousness of God in Christ.

WHEN YOU PRAY - Your Father Awaits

Your Father Awaits
. . . pray to your Father . . .
—Matthew 6:6 nkjv
You come to prayer, not as a servant, not as a slave, but as a son of God. This means you can come to the Father with confidence and security. Trust Him as a Father! Talk to Him like you would to a caring earthly father! Don’t beg and plead with Him like you don’t belong. He desires the best for you, to lead you, to show you, to speak to you. He needs you to get His work accomplished in the earth. He wants to strengthen you, to comfort you, even to correct you. He is a loving Father who wants to fulfill your every desire. Listen for Him to speak to you in your spirit. Write down what He says, so you can go over it time after time. Let Him impart to you the spiritual energy you need for the day. Others will start to see the change in your life from the time spent with your Father. Do you want to live in victory? Deliver bound people? Preach the Word with fire? Change the world? It all starts when you pray—with a motive of love, in your secret place, after you shut the door, and have spent time with your Father. Successful Christians do daily what other Christians dooccasionally. You choose, today!

WHEN YOU PRAY - Undivided Attention

Undivided Attention
. . . shut your door . . .
—Matthew 6:6 NKJV
Atmosphere is a major key to a strong prayer life. You cannot get intimate with God or anyone if there are constant interruptions during your fellowship time. Phones ringing, neighbors talking, or TVs blaring will not allow you to get alone with Him. Shut the door! Pick a time and place when and where all is quiet. Early in the morning is a time of little distractions. Quiet your mind from worldly thoughts by reading the Word, quoting Scriptures, or meditating on the Word while praying in tongues. Fervent prayer should involve your spirit, soul, and body. If you are tired and falling asleep, walk while you pray. Lazy? Kneel down and pray! Do whatever it takes to condition your body to come in line with prayer. Let others in your household know, “I pray from five a.m. to six a.m.—do not disturb!” Shut the door on distractions and give God and His Word your undivided attention. Keep your time and place open to God and closed to the world.
